I'm not on dial-up so your sig doesn't bother me. If you want to shorten it you could type your list of dolls across instead of one doll per line.
is my sig to long? does it take to much time to scroll thru? i think its fine... even tho it doesnt meet the sig requirements...
what do YOU think?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It would really help if you combined some of the dolls on the same line of text. I like the different colors you used and putting 2 or 3 dolls on the same line but in different colors would still make them stand out. You have 12 lines of text and we are asking for 4 lines. Also, the very light pink is hard or impossible for most people to read. Thanks for asking.Originally posted by Oh-Canada:

Ditto on the pink. The yellow is hard to see too. No problems on my dial up connection though.
I think it's good now, Allie.
I like your siggy. I don't think it makes sense to hold everyone to the same standard on the 4 lines thing when some people have pictures or tickers and others don't. Those that don't shoudl be allowed to have more than 4 lines of text, IMO. But anyway...your siggy is one of the shorter ones, and the colors are cool, too.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The guidelines came about after many, many requests from our members. We are trying to accomodate the wishes of the majority of the people that post here. Most people have expressed that they do not "read" the signatures especially things like doll lists or wish lists. More people have stated that they liked seeing pictures more than tickers or lots of text. Ask yourself if you read everyone's doll lists or even know what is in all that text. Most people skip right over it. However, many members have stated that they love seeing everyone's signature pictures of dolls especially if they are updated pretty often.Originally posted by Tra:

The other complaint that we are addressing is that the posts are getting "lost" in the sea of signatures. If your signature has a lot of text, it is not that easy to distinguish it from a reply to a topic.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">You still have 7 lines of text and the guideline calls for 4 lines of text. If you would put "Allie" on the same line as Wrinkle Alert, etc. that would eliminate 1 line.Originally posted by Oh-Canada:
ok how is it now?
Also, if you would combine Coming soon with Jess, you would also eliminate 1 line.
With these small changes, you do not lose any information and you are really coming close to being in the guideline which will make a lot of people happy. I appreciate your asking and trying to comply since many members have already taken a lot of time to modify their signatures accordingly. I don't think these changes will take anything away from what you are trying to say in your signature. It is colorful and very eye catching.
